**Job Title:** Activities Assistant (Part-Time)
**Location:** Eastbrook Healthcare Center 
**Salary:** $12.00 per hour
**Position Type:** Part-Time

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing the recreational and social experiences of our residents. This position requires creativity, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping others engage in meaningful activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational activities, including arts and crafts, games, fitness classes, and special events.
- Engage with residents to encourage participation in activities and foster a positive environment.
- Set up and take down activity spaces, ensuring they are clean and organized.
- Provide support to residents during activities, offering assistance as needed to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
- Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to evaluate the success of activities and suggest improvements or new ideas for future programs.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment used in activities, and assist with ordering or restocking as necessary.
- Document participation and gather feedback from residents to enhance program offerings.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in recreation, education, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Creative mindset with the ability to engage and inspire residents.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine interest in working with diverse populations.

**Work Schedule:**

- Flexible part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
