We, the Studio Research & Analytics team, are currently seeking a Consumer Insights Manager to support Disney+ Marketing, Product & Content Curation. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, you will work closely with the Disney+ teams, managing quantitative and qualitative research initiatives, as well as analyzing and synthesizing data, for key stakeholders. The primary areas of responsibility for this role focus on the research supporting Disney+ Product and Design initiatives. **Responsibilities:** + Overall, manage quantitative and qualitative custom research projects from inception to completion, including study design, development of appropriate methodologies, vendor selection and management, project management, analysis, and report/findings delivery + Specifically, manage the day-to-day operations of the Disney+ customer experience tracking program + Working with the Senior Manager, ensure that every deliverable is strategically actionable and drives key decision making + Serve as a point of contact for various groups within Disney+ divisions, and across the broader enterprise, providing consumer and industry-based input to the decision-making process + Manage on-going and ad hoc reports using quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within the product marketing, engagement, product & design strategy of Disney+ and the Disney Bundle + Assist in acquiring and managing research tools as required to meet the needs of internal custom experience tracking + Synthesize primary and secondary research to inform decision making + Respond to time sensitive data requests from internal clients + Support presentation of findings based on research conducted and contribute to related business discussions + Be at the forefront of SVOD industry trends amidst a rapidly changing landscape + Build and maintain relationships with research counterparts within the team as well as from other divisions of The Walt Disney Company as well as external vendors + Stay abreast of current trends and new techniques in the field of market research **Basic Qualifications:** + 5+ years quantitative and qualitative market research experience - either supplier-side, client-side, or some combination thereof, including project management + Experience with SPSS, Reporter, Q or Marketsight or other cross-tabbing tool + Experience with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, etc. is a plus + Solid project and vendor management skills + Strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work effectively in an environment of tight deadlines and constant change + Confident communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize ideas through visual storytelling + Strong attention to detail without losing sight of broader objectives + Flexible personality, quick learner and a strong, pro-active work ethic + Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team + Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines + Analytical thinker who enjoys problem-solving + Intellectual curiosity and a passion for innovation + Strong social, collaboration, and communication skills + Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team + Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed **Preferred Qualifications:** + MBA or advanced degree in Market Research + Experience with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, etc + Entertainment market research experience, with an emphasis on SVOD, TV, and/or In-Home content consumption + International Market Research experience + Passionate consumer of content - movies, TV, SVOD + Familiarity with the brands and franchises of The Walt Disney Company **Education:** + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology or related field The hiring range for this position in California is $113,800 to $152,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
