Job Title: EHS Senior ManagerJob Description
We are seeking an experienced EHS Senior Manager to lead and manage Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs across three manufacturing facilities in Tijuana. The primary focus will be at the main EHS facility, which is the smallest of the three and houses the EHS team. This role involves ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, especially in wastewater management, and serving as the primary liaison with environmental regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage EHS programs across three manufacturing facilities in Tijuana.
+ Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, with a strong emphasis on wastewater management.
+ Collaborate closely with the Safety Manager to align environmental and safety initiatives.
+ Serve as the primary liaison with environmental regulatory agencies.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with internal auditors and external agencies.
+ Analyze safety procedures and ensure alignment with environmental compliance standards.
+ Break down long-term objectives into measurable components such as KPIs and incident rates.
+ Focus on building relationships with the team, understanding current procedures, and identifying opportunities to optimize processes and reduce risk within the first three months.
+ Interface with internal departments, service providers, and customers in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
+ Present to and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field.
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, specifically in EHS leadership roles within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
+ Manufacturing industry background with direct experience in manufacturing; military experience is acceptable only if it includes relevant EHS leadership.
+ Strong environmental compliance knowledge, especially in wastewater management and working with environmental regulatory agencies.
+ Familiarity with key standards such as ISO (Environmental Management Systems), ISO (Facility Management Systems), and OSHA.
+ Ability to travel to Tijuana, MI headquarters, and other locations as needed.
+ Strong communication and leadership skills to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and collaborate cross-functionally.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ERP system experience is a plus.
+ CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but Spanish is not required.
Work Environment
The primary facility for the EHS Manager is the smallest of the three and houses the EHS team. It will be the main location the EHS Senior Manager visits. Other facilities are larger in size and still under the EHS Senior Manager's oversight but visited less frequently. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
Annual Bonus: 15%Profit Sharing: 6% (as part of Masco Corporation)

This is a fully onsite position in Vista,CA.
