Experienced Medical Assistant needed. We are a small Endocrinology office in Scottsdale who's patient care is our top priority. We will spend quality time on training the new employee in all aspects of the office, so you have all the tools and resources to be a successful Medical Assistant. Duties will include learning and mastering every aspect of the office. Training in every department will be given. Office tasks consist of rooming patients, medication knowledge, medication prior authorizations, medication reconciliation, phones, check in and out, schedule appointments, injections, patient training, taking vitals, nurse line, new patient line, communicating with pharmacists, insurances, supply companies and patients. Our computer system is ECW. As an endocrinology office we treat for diabetes, thyroid, hormones, weight loss, osteoporosis and many other things.
Once fully trained your full duties will be rooming for 5 providers, fax inbox reconciliation and sending medication refills.Start date negotiable. Tuesday-Friday 7:00-5:00. 90 day probation period. Paid vacation and sick time.
