Tomsche, Sonnesyn & Tomsche is a boutique insurance defense law firm seeking a litigation paralegal with experience in personal injury cases. We are experienced trial lawyers who pride ourselves on providing exceptional legal services to our clients.

• Assist attorneys in preparation for depositions, mediations and trials
• Manage complex litigated cases including investigations and interviews with clients and witnesses
• Prepare mediation statements
• Prepare case evaluation reports
• Prepare IME referral letters
• Draft discovery responses and required disclosures under the Rules of Civil Procedure
• Gather and summarize medical records and other relevant documents
• Prioritize work and caseloads in conjunction with pertinent deadlines
• Organize and manage file documents
• Other assigned tasks
  
  

• Experience reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical records
• Strong writing skills
• Confident communication skills with clients and opposing counsel
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
• Comfortable with technology including paperless environment and cloud-based file management system
• Experience tracking and entering billable time
• 2+ years experience in personal injury litigation preferred
