Location: Rockville, MD | Salary: $100,000 base + performance-based commissions

The Law Offices of Josephia Rouse is seeking a metrics-focused leader to shape and execute a forward-thinking marketing vision for the next 5 years. This is a high-impact role offering competitive compensation, commissions tied to brand growth, ROI improvements, and cost-efficient campaign management.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan
• Analyze and optimize current campaigns to increase ROI and brand presence
• Manage budgets and improve cost efficiencies across platforms
• Mentor and collaborate with internal teams, fostering a positive and proactive culture
• Drive client acquisition and elevate firm visibility across all channels
What We’re Looking For:
• 5+ years of experience in strategic marketing leadership, preferably in legal or professional services
• Strong command of analytics, digital platforms, branding, and campaign execution

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase leads, enhance brand presence, and grow client retention.
• Allocate and manage a $300,000 marketing budget across channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, and local advertising.
• Conduct market research to understand client demographics and competitive positioning, focusing on personal injury and criminal defense clients.
SEO & Website Optimization • Oversee technical SEO initiatives to improve website performance, search rankings, and conversion rates.
• Conduct regular website audits to ensure compliance with SEO best practices, focusing on high-value keywords for divorce and custody searches.
• Collaborate with web developers to enhance site architecture, speed, and mobile responsiveness.
Lead Generation & Campaign Management • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns, including Google Ads and social media platforms, targeting divorce and custody.
• Create engaging content for blogs, landing pages, and email campaigns to educate prospective clients and improve conversion rates.
• Monitor campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Vendor Management • Identify, vet, and manage relationships with external vendors, including SEO specialists, PPC consultants, and content creators.
• Ensure timely delivery of services and evaluate vendor performance based on key metrics.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor budgets to maximize ROI.
Community Engagement & Reputation Management • Build and manage the firm's online reputation through client testimonials, reviews, and community outreach programs.
• Coordinate sponsorships, community events, and partnerships that align with the firm’s brand and values.
• Oversee social media strategy to increase engagement and connect with local audiences.
Data Analysis & Reporting • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost per lead, conversion rates, and ROI across all marketing channels.
• Provide regular reports to leadership, highlighting campaign performance, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
• Use analytics to refine strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in marketing , preferably within the legal industry.
• Proven success managing a $300,000 - $500,000 marketing budget with a focus on qualified lead generation.
• Expertise in technical SEO, Google Ads, social media advertising, and content marketing.
• Strong experience in vendor management, including selecting and evaluating external partners.
• Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and social media management platforms.
Preferred: • Familiarity with family law firm marketing, including local SEO and client acquisition strategies.
• Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or HubSpot.
• Experience with client relationship management (CRM) tools tailored to law firms (e.g., Clio, Lawmatics).
Key Skills: • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
