This role will partner directly with teams within Amazon’s Transportation Operations and Public Policy Teams to identify policy and partnership opportunities. This role is responsible for essential stakeholder engagement that will chart the course for WW Operations to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040, 10 years ahead of the Paris Climate Agreement. If you are looking for a role with a high impact on the fight against climate change globally, you should consider applying.

Key job responsibilities
1. Develop sustainable transportation policy and partnership inputs to drive desired outcomes for cost, speed, and sustainability in Amazon’s operations

2. Partner directly with teams across Operations and with Public Policy to deliver optimal sustainability results

3. Lead external-facing initiatives for WW Operations to achieve net zero emissions in ops by 2040

A day in this role will include engaging with internal and external experts to identify opportunities to accelerate progress on decarbonization, attending doc reviews on key transportation initiatives, meeting with Operations leaders to influence their approach to sustainability through policy and partnerships, and meeting with team members to track progress to goals and identify new opportunities to drive deeper decarbonization.

If you are not sure that every qualification on the list above describes you exactly, we'd still love to hear from you! At Amazon, we value people with unique backgrounds, experiences, and skillsets. If you’re passionate about this role and want to make an impact on a global scale, please apply!
