Job Summary

Join Bon Appétit as the Resident District Manager at Butler University, leading a multi-unit dining program that supports the campus community through high-quality, sustainable food service.

 

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management: Lead and develop a large, diverse team to meet financial and operational goals.

• Client & Community Relations: Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring satisfaction and strong community engagement.

• Operations Oversight: Ensure excellence in food quality, safety, marketing, and compliance through regular audits and hands-on leadership.

• Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to drive performance.

• Staff Development: Manage performance reviews, succession planning, and cross-functional team development.

Qualifications

• Meets USDA Professional Standards.

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of foodservice management experience.

• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and decision-making ability.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
