Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Amazon continues to delight customers around the world with a growing assortment of fast, innovative, and convenient delivery programs like One-Day, Same-Day, and Sub-Same-Day delivery designed to help customers get their stuff when and where they need it. On the Delivery Experience team, we are constantly innovating to help our customers get even faster delivery, on an ever-broader assortment of products, with ambitious goals to expand these global delivery services to more and more cities each year.

To drive that growth, we are looking for a customer-obsessed Product Manager with a strong track record of delivering results and product management and/or forecasting experience. This role owns the weekly demand forecasting and performance reporting for the Sub Same Day program in U.S. metros enabling Amazon to continue to push the envelope when it comes to delivery speed. The Product Manager will drive key strategic decisions around demand forecasting, performance analysis, and new site launches with a focus on experimentation to deliver our customers the optimal blend of convenience and speed.

You are results oriented and have thrived and succeeded in operating a new business in a highly ambiguous environment. You know how to be scrappy but operate as part of a larger team and business. You can expect all the challenges and benefits of a high-profile business: wide-open space for improvement and innovation, a strong team, and a fast-paced environment. These will require a willingness to dive into the details, solve new problems as they arise, leverage high judgment and gut instinct, look around corners, and always obsess over customers. Everyone on the team wears multiple hats, and ownership of the customer experience is key.

The Role: You are someone who is willing to roll up your sleeves. The pay-off is high ownership, an ability to deliver results, an awesome variety in what we work on at any one time and the ability to grow in role. You love diving deep and using data to identify opportunities and guide improvements. You will interact closely with the business team, the technology team, the operations team and identify/manage critical projects.
