Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reporting to Engineering Manager.
• In charge of process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements.
• Define, Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Develop and implement 5DX test strategies.
• Maintain MPI to meet customer manufacturability, quality, and cost requirements.
• Develop and update the manufacturing process procedures.
• Review and support design change orders.
• Perform DFM analysis.
• Optimize process flow for maximum efficiency and develop product specific tooling.
• Resolve   production   problems   and   determine   appropriate   actions   for quality/process improvements.
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements
• Perform failure analysis and develop solutions for failures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION: BSEE, ME, IE, or equivalent experience.
• EXPERIENCE:  Minimum 5 years of experience in PCBA processes; testing,                                             debugging, and test equipment programming experience is a plus.
• SKILLS:
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Extensive experience on DFM/DFA for electronics manufacturing.
  • Well versed on processes and procedures for SMT/PCBAs for manufacturing qualification.
  • Capable to develop, implement and maintain PCBA processes.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Able to write engineering reports for internal and external customers.
  • Stencil Design –Area/Aspect ratio, paste type and mesh knowledge, Eform, nickel, step-stencil, etc.
