DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager Technical to join our Alexa AI Product team, where you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing conversational AI. As part of the team responsible for Alexa+, you will lead the development of innovative products and technologies powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. This role offers an unique opportunity to shape the future of AI-driven conversational experiences that millions of customers use daily. You will collaborate with world-class Scientists, Engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate complex technical capabilities into delightful customer experiences. The position requires a blend of technical depth, product intuition, and strategic thinking to drive innovation in conversational AI.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive product strategy and roadmap for key components of Alexa+'s conversational AI platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
• Partner with Science and Engineering teams across time zones (US, EU, IN) to define and prioritize technical requirements for new AI features and capabilities
• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from conception through launch, including writing PRDs, technical specifications, and business requirements
• Own horizontal customer experiences, such as Responsible AI and Named Entity Resolution; develop and track success metrics, conducting data analysis to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with UX teams to ensure optimal user experience across various Alexa-enabled devices and surfaces
• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across Amazon, including Science, Engineering, Design, Business Development, and Legal teams
• Present product vision to senior executives (VP+ audience) and drive cross-organizational alignment to deliver a delightful product to customers
• Drive technical decisions that balance customer experience, technical feasibility, and business requirements
• Identify and assess new opportunities for applying emerging AI technologies to enhance Alexa's capabilities

A day in the life
The ideal PM will be able to deeply understand technical proposals from the team as well as the customer needs - both end customers and Alexa developers. They will be able to challenge the team on simplifiers and delivery of value to customers. They will be doing this working with Scientists and Engineers in EU and India and must be comfortable enough with technology to represent their work to US teams in meetings outside EU and IN timezones.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
- 3+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Strong technical background and proven track record of delivering complex technical products at scale
- Excellence in written and verbal communication, with ability to translate technical concepts for various audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience working with technical teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
