Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to understand project requirements, design objectives, and user expectations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to design projects.
  • Work with internal clients to design and develop web pages.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces that align with modern design principles.
  • Implement front-end designs using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Leverage your proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, to produce high-quality visuals to aid the development of web pages.
  • Ensure designs adhere to UI/UX principles and best practices for optimal user experiences.
  • Collaborate within a team environment to contribute innovative design concepts and ideas.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining design quality.
  • Conduct audits of our websites to discover outages and look for improvements and areas of opportunity.
  • Demonstrate a strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography in your designs.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first approaches.
  • Contribute to digital photo editing tasks and other visual enhancements.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
  • Be open to learning from team members and incorporating constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Portfolio showcasing strong creative work encompassing web and digital projects.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS for front-end development.
  • Knowledge of working with different CMS programs, such as WordPress.
  • Awareness of UI/UX principles and a good understanding of SEO principles.
  • Excellent visual design skills, including color theory, image composition, and typography that can be applied when designing a web page.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
