As the **Web Production Manager** your passion for detail and website production will be put into practice every single day. You will apply your deep knowledge of digital marketing and web production to drive the implementation of engaging, effective sites and campaign landing pages for business units across Cengage. **What you'll do here:** + Serve as the main contact for assigned web marketing projects and initiatives to meet team and business goals. Work with internal stakeholders to implement marketing web projects in many areas of the company + Provide hands-on direction and oversight of web projects, including: website creation and maintenance, campaign landing page set up and optimization, experiments to support conversion optimization, interactive features and personalization, and website performance reporting. + Drives projects to completion through effective project management skills; communicating status and schedule, organizing and facilitating meetings, assigning internal and external resources. + Lead the process and serve as the single point of contact with business owner(s) + Actively communicate through daily use of such tools as JIRA, Confluence, WorkFront, and Slack channels + Conduct design and implementation reviews; examine, research, and resolve issues; raise issues to appropriate team members + Possess dDeep understanding of CMS systems and site architecture used by content contributors creators + Ensure consistent approach of web tools and standard methodologies + Oversee creation of governance and requirements documents, use cases and maintenance requests as needed for continuous improvement of web projects + Understanding of SEO business goals and implementation across the website(s) + Work with internal/external domain authorities to implement continuous enhancements to web site design, usability, accessibility, legal compliance and performance + Design and lead scalable processes to support marketing efforts to run campaigns on marketing websites + Contribute to a knowledge base and a training curriculum to incorporate best practices and provide ongoing training and support of the CMS contributor community, including vendor partners + Stay up to date on web technology relevant to digital marketing and make recommendations for use on projects and workflows as appropriate **Skills You Will Need Here:** + Education: Four-year degree in Marketing, Information Science, Web Design, or related area + Minimum 7 years of professional experience in one or more areas of Digital Marketing, Web Development, Web UX/UI, Marketing Automation Systems, Project Management, Information Technology Management + Demonstrable experience leading multiple, simultaneous projects through to completion. Ability to seamlessly transition from one project to another + Experience overseeing the deliverables of external vendors + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMs) + Hands-on experience using a CMS, including solving issues and optimizing workflows + Experience using web analytics tools for analysis of site performance, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, LightHouse, etc. + Demonstrated proficiency and experience creating HTML CSS + Demonstrated experience using Javascript and JavaScript frameworks + Demonstrated skill and experience creating and implementing plans for webpage conversion optimization + Demonstrated communication and presentation skills + Skilled in resolving issues and navigating obstacles + Possess drive and motivation for achievement and the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly Preferred: + Experience with implementing website personalization + Experience with implementing and using conversion optimization frameworks + Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Cengage Group is committed to working with broad talent pools to attract and hire strong and most qualified individuals. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.
