Job Description

WINK News is seeking a Weekend Morning Video Editor Intern to join our dynamic newsroom team. This internship offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities in the fast-paced world of broadcast journalism. You will work closely with producers, anchors, reporters, and photographers to learn and develop non-linear editing skills while contributing to the creation of compelling newscasts.
Key Responsibilities:

• Edit video content for weekend morning newscasts and other news programming.
• Collaborate with newsroom staff to produce high-quality visual storytelling.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in video delivery under tight deadlines.
• Learn and apply non-linear editing techniques for broadcast.
• Assist in managing and organizing video assets and content.

Schedule:

• Saturday & Sunday: 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• One Weekday Shift: Schedule TBD
• Three days a week: max 29 hours
