As a Window Tint Installer at Prestige Auto Appearance (Allentown, PA), you will precisely install high‑performance automotive window tint films—enhancing customer privacy, reducing glare and UV exposure, and improving vehicle aesthetics. Performance Objectives

  • Achieve zero defects in tint installations (no bubbling, lifting, or misalignment).
  • Maintain consistent pace—typically completing a standard 4-door vehicle in a competitive timeframe while upholding quality.
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction, measured by feedback and re‑installation rates.
  • Support team readiness: maintain inventory of films/tools and ensure work area cleanliness.

  • Precision & attention to detail: flawlessly cut and apply tint film for exact alignment.
  • Surface preparation expertise: ensure windows are clean and dry, free of debris before film application.
  • Steady hand & fine motor skills for squeegee work, trimming, and edge sealing.

  • Collaborative team player: able to communicate effectively with co‑workers, detailers, and front‑desk staff.
  • Customer‑focused attitude: patiently explain processes, answer questions, and ensure customer comfort.
  • Commitment to safe practices (film handling, workspace hygiene, tool usage).

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience (preferred): 1 year or more installing window tint film on automotive windows or similar surface applications.
  • Certification with quality tint brands (e.g. XPEL, 3M, SunTek) is a plus—but not mandatory .
  • Familiarity with automotive glass types and regulations (e.g. vehicle tint darkness limits) is helpful.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and lean over vehicles for extended periods.
  • Good manual dexterity and visual acuity for fine trimming tasks.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive motions and lifting lightweight materials (e.g. film rolls, tools).
  • Tolerance for temperature variations (e.g. working in climate‑controlled bay vs. ambient daylight conditions).
