SAIC is seeking a Material Expediter for our Hanahan, SC location. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Includes receiving material into warehouse, completing receiving documentation in database, and notifying projects that their items are in.
• Receiving includes off-loading by hand from delivery trucks, and also unloading via pallet jack or motorized forklift, as needed.
• Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities.  
• Compile reports of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck.
• Another segment of this position is the maintaining of the TVI Program Master Material List in SharePoint.
• This position also requires a knowledge of shipping outgoing material and obtaining quotes and prices for such.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

• High School Diploma
• Two (2) years of warehouse experience to include: performing inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material; operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment; and utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
