Job Description

Zarla is an AI-driven startup on a mission to help mobile car detailers get online and grow. We aim to be the ultimate all-in-one online platform for mobile car detailers. We help them create a website, add online booking, and establish their Google Business Profile so clients can easily find them.

This role combines sales expertise with client success management, offering a 70% base salary with 30% commission structure. You will be in the office 5-days per week to collaborate with other team members. Our office is above the Chicago redline stop on Chicago and State. Exact work hours can be flexible.

The Role:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll convert inbound leads into satisfied Zarla customers while guiding them through the onboarding process. You'll manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to successful implementation, collaborating with our team of creatives, strategists, and tech specialists.

You will:
  • Convert qualified inbound leads into sales while guiding clients through our platform solutions.
  • Conduct consultative sales calls to understand branding, marketing goals, and unique value propositions.
  • Follow up with prospects who have expressed interest in our platform to close deals.
  • Maintain detailed client records and sales pipeline information in our CRM.
  • Collaborate with teams across departments (SEO, Design, Development) to ensure client success.
  • Present website mockups and platform capabilities to prospects during the sales process.
  • Ensure smooth transitions by scheduling implementation calls and introducing clients to Account Managers.
  • Provide feedback to improve our sales process and product offerings.


What We Really Need From You:

  • Experience selling marketing services or tech to small businesses. Auto industry would be ideal.
  • Proven track record of converting inbound leads into sales.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing products, local SEO, and online booking systems.
  • Ability to build and nurture collaborative partnerships with clients and internal teams.
  • Tech-savvy approach with ability to demonstrate and explain online tools (including website builders, booking software, and Google Business Profile).
